Are there cheat codes in GTA 6?

None are known yet. Rockstar has not published or confirmed any GTA 6 cheats, and the game is not out until Thursday, November 19, 2026. Lists of "GTA 6 cheats" online repeat GTA V codes or are made up.

Will GTA 6 have cheats?

Probably, but it is not confirmed. Every mainline GTA since GTA III has had cheat codes in its story mode. Rockstar has not said whether GTA 6 does.

When will GTA 6 cheats be found?

After launch. Rockstar has not announced any, and for past GTA games the codes were found and shared by players once the games were out.

Do cheats disable trophies and achievements?

In GTA V they do: using a cheat blocks trophies and achievements, so players make a manual save first. Whether GTA 6 works the same way is not known yet.

How cheats worked in GTA V

GTA V, the last mainline game, had three ways to enter a cheat in story mode. GTA 6 may work differently.

Method	How
Controller	Press a button sequence during play. Works on every console version.
In-game phone	Dial a number starting 1-999 on the character's phone.
PC console	Press the ~ key, type the cheat name and press Enter.

GTA V cheats only work in story mode, not in GTA Online, and they block trophies and achievements while in use.

Why we don't list codes yet

Many sites already show button combinations labelled GTA 6. None of them can have been tested, because nobody outside Rockstar has the game. Once it is out we will add each code with the platforms it was tested on and the date we checked it.

Until then, the GTA 6 map shows where the hotels, shops and landmarks seen so far are, and the countdown tracks the launch.
