Sources and method

Everything on the map comes from GTADB, a community database that pins places seen in GTA VI trailers and screenshots to map coordinates. Release facts come from Rockstar and the official console stores.

What is on the map

• 29 hotels, each with its own page, in-game photo and real-world counterpart where one is known.
• 836 more named places: gas stations, shops, food and nightlife, transport, leisure, landmarks and more, sorted into categories from GTADB's tags.
• Map tiles re-cut from GTADB's reconstruction of Leonida. The map is pieced together from footage and will differ from the final game.

Evidence labels

Seen in footage

The place appears in official trailers or screenshots and GTADB contributors have located it. It says nothing about what you can do there in the game.

Community guess

The name or location is a contributor's inference that footage has not confirmed. Treat it as likely, not certain.

Enterable / Safehouse

Community tags based on footage. They are not confirmed gameplay features until the game is out.

Real world

The real Florida building or address contributors matched the place to. Rockstar has not confirmed these matches.

Names that look odd

Places are named by what is visible in footage. A hotel building can carry the name of the restaurant on its sign; we keep that name and note it on the page instead of renaming it.

Updates and corrections

We rebuild the map from GTADB's public data, so corrections made on map.gtadb.org reach this site with the next update. Release details are rechecked against Rockstar's pages; the date each guide was checked is listed at the bottom of the guide.
